Black Box

For Vysoké Mýto, we contributed to the school extension by designing a black metal block exterrior, referring back to the classic architectural elements on the main building. The subtle vertical articulation of the façade mimics the cut of a holiday suit. The extension of the experimental black box with facilities is, among other things, designed as a small machine. Its energy surplus subsidizes the inefficient existing school building, which is listed. This includes opening up the school's operations to the public realm of the courtyard and making it accessible to the public.
