Foxhole

Haven for a large, close and active family is set in a beautiful garden at the mouth of a sharply cut valley. Emphasis is placed on intense proximity that contrasts with the possibility of private shelter for each of the family members. The living room is formed by an elevated lounger composed from tatami, while private rooms are hidden behind deep-cut doors with special emphasis on acoustic separation. Right behind the low window there is a maintenance-free green garage roof, while from the dining room or children's room there is access directly onto a large terrace with a stairway across its entire width leading to the garden one floor down.
